You stand your ground and wait for the wretched smelly creature to lurch forward. You swing the wood with all your might and hit the beast on the side of the head. The head of this rotting stinking creature came half detached from neck. Head was sagging but still attached. The beast let out a gastly scream and came forward with it's arms extended out reaching for you. Suddenly, you trip backwards while stepping back, and fall to the ground, flat on your back. The creature jumps to land on you, but as it jumps you grab your trusty chunk of wood and placed it in front of you. The creature impales itself on the chunk of wood, let's out a screech and then seemingly dies. In clearly a state of shock you wittily proclaim while looking at your chunk of wood, "Who wood think, that wood work!" But with no one else around to hear such a witty comment, you quickly realized the comment was wasted. I mean even the creature didn't hear it. It was already dead. It was time to move on back to the fork in the road to chose a different path.
